Subject: That scarf though
With shipping, one set of slate would realistically cost you between $600 and $800 depending on how far. If you're local and picked it up yourself, it'd cost you around $400.
We'll take $200 a set locally. The slate came in with a batch of tables over the years. The tables had all been pieced out to replace parts on some of the damaged ones. We ended up having all the slate to those tables left over.
My buddy aka my boss has had these two bundles of slate stacked in the corner of his warehouse ever since. He isn't trying to get market value from it. He just wants them gone. He sells kitchen cabinets now and needs the room for cabinet storage. When the tables were ordered in originally, they were advertised with Italian slate. Before that batch of tables, the slate came from China. So, there's a mix of Italian slate in there and Chinese slate. I hope that's helpful.
