Yeah I get that as well. To avoid it I try to give myself a bit if time before work, maybe 20-30 minutes, to just relax and gather myself before the day starts. Usually it's just a cup of coffee and some eggs at the kitchen table, read a bit, think about something other than the day ahead of me.
This after I have prepared for the work day but before I have left the house.
I also commute on my bike which I find helps too, just burns off a bit of that excess anxiety.
