something is lkely wrong with his ipad, as he has an A7 chip, which is the same as I have in my iphone 5 and it doesn't lag at all.
also, you need to keep in mind that this isn't the stock firmware, but an updated one. I mean, IOS8 works on anything made in the last four to five years, do you expect it to be snappy on the oldest hardware?
