I was in the same boat, picked up space grey - for the record I hate fingerprints and glossy materials. Haven't really noticed fingerprints much, you get used to them. They aren't as bad as I thought they would be. Also, you can throw on a case that covers the back as well as the black bezel around the screen so you don't get prints. If you get a white ipad, you can always get a black bezel case to make it black if the white border bugs you too much. I really love the black look of the space grey though so I went with that. Either choice I think you will be happy.
