- we don't need the very lastest version of of PostgreSQL driver; the one in Jessie should be good enough - we don't need spring-commands-testunit, according to its own documentation: http://www.rubydoc.info/gems/spring-commands-testunit/1.0.1

Some tests now need javascript to run and were tagged to selenium

vendor/plugins load was removed from rails4. Now we required theses plugins inside the Gemfile, automatically. init.rb files are loaded in config/initializers/dependencies.rb

This is needed to load the app in production mode. I would guess that fresh new Rails apps come with the asset pipeline dependencies on the top-level and not inside a group for a reason.
