Hi

I am trying to extract the abdominal aneurysm from CT images. I just need the tissue part to be exported into an STL so that I can use it in CFD/FEA analysis. 

 In the examples, all I have seen is bone extraction. Is tissue/blood vessel extraction also possible? Is there a sequence of commands I can use to do this?

Thanks and sorry for the ignorant question. I am stuck with the segmentation for a while now. I dont have background in imaging.

    Hi Tejas,

    Yes, it is possible. First you try to segment using the threshold tool. In this tool you set the range of gray values the object of your interest have. If it's not possible to segment using the threshold values, you'll have to segment manually. To do that, open the "Advanced editing tool", then using a brush you segment using painting and erasing operations.
