  Sorry for taking so much time to ask your question.

  It's not possible to open tif (or png, jpg, bmp, ...) in InVesalius. InVesalius only opens dicom and analyze files. But it's possible to convert those files into dicom. We have a command line application to do that conversion [1], but it's a little dificult to use this application in Windows, because it's runs in dos. I did a fast search in google and i found some application that do that conversion, like microdicom [2] and mipav [3]. They seem to be easier to use.
