  Hi,

  Apparently there is an error in the way InVesalius handle your dicom files. Or, maybe, there is an error in your dicom files. Could you send us your dicom file to do some testing?

    Thanks for your reply. I send you a sample of my DICOM files, however it's important to mention that i've tried this with several DICOM archives, and the error is always the same.

      Hi Yara,

      It's an error in this InVesalius version. It was already fixed but not released yet. If you want fix the version you are running you can update the following files with the fixed ones:

      /usr/share/invesalius-3.0/invesalius/constants.py <- raw.​gith​ub.c​om/i​nves​aliu​s/in​vesa​lius​3/b2​d587​c7ea​e7a7​2bf0​a20f​fb30​4544​b6fc​0869​af/i​nves​aliu​s/co​nsta​nts.​py

      usr/share/invesalius-3.0/invesalius/gui/task_slice.py <- raw.​gith​ub.c​om/i​nves​aliu​s/in​vesa​lius​3/b2​d587​c7ea​e7a7​2bf0​a20f​fb30​4544​b6fc​0869​af/i​nves​aliu​s/gu​i/ta​sk_s​lice​.py

       /usr/share/invesalius-3.0/invesalius/gui/widgets/gradient.py <- raw.​gith​ub.c​om/i​nves​aliu​s/in​vesa​lius​3/b2​d587​c7ea​e7a7​2bf0​a20f​fb30​4544​b6fc​0869​af/i​nves​aliu​s/gu​i/wi​dget​s/gr​adie​nt.p​y

      To update the files you can copy the content from link page and paste inside the respective file.

        Thanks a lot for your reply. I will try to fix this. Are these fixed files useful for all the Invesalius Versions and all operating systems? Will they wor for Versions for Windows 32 bits and Ubuntu 64 bits? 

        If not, how can the windows version be fixed?

          Yara,

          It only applies to Ubuntu or any other Linux distribution, not to Windows or Mac. It's because the Windows versions installs compiled  python files.

          There is no way to fix windows version. We are going to release a new beta version soon.

              Unfortunately, that trick with the files can't be done in Windows because the files are binaries, not python files. Fortunately, we are very close to release a new version.

              We've just released a new InVesalius version.  The problem you are having is fixed in this version.
