Is Invesalius capable to segment the Circulatory System?

Greetings, 

I have tried to visualize the circulatory system in several DICOM images,but the software stopped working when i requested the creation of surfaces in a certain threshold interval.I don't know if the problem was in the images or in threshold interval of the mask or in the software,can anybody please help me with this?

    Hi Guilherme,

    Surface creation might use a lot of RAM, it's proportional to the region(s) selected by the interval threshold you used. The application may crash if your computer doesn't have the needed RAM. It may happen you have a computer with the necessary RAM but your operation system and the InVesalius version aren't the 64 bit version. My suggestion to avoid this problem is to use InVesalius 64 bit version in a 64 bit operation system with a least 4GB of RAM.
